Pixelmon Kalos is an adventure map recreation of the Pokemon X & Y games from the 3DS. The map requires the Pixelmon Reforged mod and the TrainerCommands sidemod. The sidemod WonderTrade is also recommended.

The Pixelmon Kalos map seeks to recreate the Pokemon X & Y games in Minecraft, with true-to-game Pokemon spawn locations, trainers, full story and dialogue from the games. Explore the Kalos region with your friends/rivals, take on Team Flare, the evil faction trying to take over the world, test your battle skills at the Battle Maison, Chateau, or restaurants, and much more!

Additionally, through redstone and the resource pack, the map contains over 50 custom modeled items, signs, and story-based models, music on every route corresponding to the games, a Fly HM to visit cities, a Friend Safari unlocked by battling trainers, Mega Stones and hunting depending on the time of day, Honey that attracts hoard Pokemon, Rock Smash rocks that can contain items or Pokemon, Strength and Cut to navigate the world, Berry Trees, a custom Starter Sequence, and more!

The map is singleplayer and multiplayer friendly, as long as you are using a forge or Spongeforge-based server (Nucleus may mess with the map's commands, among other plugins, so use with caution!).

This was our first experience playtesting the map, mainly just looking for bug fixes before release, going through just about everything. 

 

 
Common known issues and what might help:

V2.0: Unable to enable primary resource pack/resource pack is crashing the client upon startup

The resource pack may be too high-resolution. Try this downscaled resource pack and see if you are able to enable this instead. [DOWNLOAD]. If the original pack is enabled but begins crashing when you start your Minecraft profile, you can remove it by opening your options.txt file located in your .minecraft folder, and replacing any packs inside the "resourcePacks:" option with blank brackets, such as "resourcePacks:[]"


Unable to interact with shopkeepers  |  Random jungle-biome & out-of-generation spawns  |  Missing vanilla villagers from the Battle Maison

First, close out of your Minecraft client or /stop the server. Copy the "config" and "pixelmon" folders from the download. Paste the folders into your .minecraft folder, or root server folder, and replace existing files. This should fix shopkeepers and spawn issues.

 

If the Battle Maison is loaded without the custom config files, vanilla villagers will have been replaced with Pixelmon entities. First, back up your Kalos world save. Then copy the "region" folder located inside the "Kalos" folder, and paste it into your current Kalos save file. If only the region folder is overwritten, NPCs will be reset and respawned, as will loot, but player progress will be kept. If you customized settings in the lobby, you will need to set those again.
