Pixelmon Kalos is an adventure map recreation of the Pokemon X & Y games from the 3DS. The map requires the Pixelmon Reforged mod and the TrainerCommands sidemod. The sidemod WonderTrade is also recommended.
If you prefer, this map also has a Technic pack you can find by going to this link, or by searching for "Pixelmon Kalos - Jond" in the modpacks section, and will configure the map automatically.
The Pixelmon Kalos map seeks to recreate the Pokemon X & Y games in Minecraft, with true-to-game Pokemon spawn locations, trainers, full story and dialogue from the games. Explore the Kalos region with your friends/rivals, take on Team Flare, the evil faction trying to take over the world, test your battle skills at the Battle Maison, Chateau, or restaurants, and much more!
Additionally, through redstone and the resource pack, the map contains over 50 custom modeled items, signs, and story-based models, a randomizer gamemode, music on every route corresponding to the games, a Fly HM to visit cities, a Friend Safari unlocked by battling trainers, Mega Stones and hunting depending on the time of day, Honey that attracts hoard Pokemon, Rock Smash rocks that can contain items or Pokemon, Strength and Cut to navigate the world, Berry Trees, a custom Starter Sequence, and more!

The map is singleplayer and multiplayer friendly, as long as you are using a forge or Spongeforge-based server (Nucleus may mess with the map's commands, among other plugins, so use with caution!).

This was our first experience playtesting the map, mainly just looking for bug fixes before release, going through just about everything.
Troubleshooting
If you're having issues with the map, try running the command "/function tools:infolist" in Minecraft and reading the info the command generates in chat. The most common issues should be explained in some form or attempted to be fixed via this function! The points it generates:
1) Shows your map version.
2) Ensures spawn chunks, the specific chunks that run the commands of the map, are loaded.
3) Checks for a vanilla Minecraft villager, and that the custom "config" and "pixelmon" folders are being used by your client/server.
4) Checks if Pixelmon itself is installed.
5) Ensures a player isn't in a dialogue (that would disable specific features while active, should reactivates features afterwards).
6) Checks if command blocks are enabled on your world/server. If #6 is not shown and #2 is green, command blocks are disabled.

Is there a way to just run around the map without all cutscenes and required story?
I want to check out the map but playing through the whole game again does not sound appealing...

Yeah you could spawn in and run the command "/function cheats:skip/allstory" I believe it is and it'll skip you to beating the E4. Should be free to do most things after you pick a starter if you wanted to explore.
Can you fix the two player combat bug?

It's more a workaround that the mod that runs commands after trainer battles doesn't seem to do the same reliably with 2v2 battles. If you're having an issue at one of the story-required ones specifically you can bypass them with a command though

The old version of your map does not have this problem. I think the reason for this problem may be some kind of command conflict. Let me use an analogy, such as a friend’s two-player battle. At the beginning, what they said was the end of the battle, and then Start the battle, cause this bug to appear, every two player battle will have this problem, I think you have to check what is the problem, so that others can have a better game experience.
spend all day trying to get a custom server set up with this map, turns out I didn't read it fully enough and it's only for 1.12
Dont ask me how I did that, I just assumed that the kanto and johto regions being 1.16 this one would be as well.
That aside, are you planning to update it at one point? considering the dependency on a mod that didn't get updated it looks like that would be a massive pain in the rear to do.

I do plan on updating the map eventually, though it's a bit of a lower priority at the moment. The mods should be there, just got to wade through the work and the bugs I've been having dissuading me lol
hey jond, your big fan here, i notice that your command in game doesn't remove the beginning part of each background music, when i stop at one city for a longer time than the bgm, i will hear the beginning part twice or more and the bgm doesn't sound like one piece, which gives me a sence of separation, i have tried to replace the bgms in given resourcepack by the loop-playing bgms, but it seems the in game command-block is ordering a replay every time the original duration passes, so i guess that the command-bolck in game have to be rewrited, it may take you some time, would you mind extend the time of the bgms in your resourcepack by loop playing them manually until each bgm reaches at least 10 or 15 minutes and then rewrite the command-block?

Been thinking about this on and off and the main couple reasons would be timings, I don't feel the way I track the time since a track has started is exact enough (and subject to lag) that it'll be that great going between tracks, especially after 10-15 mins. And would make for an even larger resource pack if every file were 10+ minutes
So I am unable to fight the gym leader in Santalune. I fight all the trainers on the web, and when I approach Viola, nothing initiates. I left, and dealt with Rinka (because I'd forgotten to fight them) and came back, and still it won't initiate. Not really sure what else I am missing.
I went to the center, the boutique, and fought Rinka, and still can't fight the gym leader.
Why can't I right click on the starters
When I right click on the randomized starters it wouldn't load
Hey, can someone help me with this problem? I cant get the holo caster from the shopkeeper. I've already done copy and pasting the pixelmon and config folders to the .minecraft folder, but i still cant get the holo caster. Im afraid to go out cuz i might not make any progress if i dont fix this. Thanks

If you are using a different launcher other than the Mojang-provided one that might be the reason. Those change the directory you install everything to. If you are in-game and hit Escape, Resource Packs, Open Resource Pack Folder, and in your to bar you aren't in your .minecraft folder to the left of where it says "resourcepacks" that's where the install will be.
If you are in your .minecraft folder try deleting the folders first and recopying them with the game closed
So i saw that u said diancie is in the mirror in relfection cave but i couldnt find a way into the mirror so i used spectator mode to find diancie i also found 2 spectral armor stands in both sides of the cave but couldnt figure out how to activate them.

Statues themselves should be clickable. But that mirror should be post-game after the Pokémon league

Should've ran the next dialogue through an advancement for catching the Pokemon. If not this'll run the same dialogue. /scoreboard players set yourusername DialogueTrigger 132
