Pit Frenzy 2.0 - 1v1 / 2v2 / 4v4 - Competitive Mob Arena

Fight against one ore multiple of your friends against the ultimate army of mobs inside one of the most unique Minecraft arenas out there.

Pit Frenzy has been originally created by SethBling in 2012 and has now been ported to the Minecraft future. Prepare for an epic battle which has been completely re-created for Minecraft 1.7.4 and allows you to play as often as you want and with as many people as you want.

Goal

Throw mobs into pits to gain points. But remember that each pit can only be used once in a cycle. A cycle ends as soon as all 4 pits of the team have been used to kill a monster.

The gained points can be used in the shop (scattered around the walls of the arena) to buy swords, potions, armor and to increase the spawnrate for the enemy team.

Each field has it's own spawnrate which starts off with 1 (1-3 mobs per spawn cycle) and ends with 3 (4+ mobs per spawn cycle).

The fields also have been equipped with an arrow target which can be used to summon special Zombies which will slow down the enemy team. Those Zombies can only be summoned once per game.

The game ends as soon as all members of a team die. The map can be reset afterwards inside the spawn area by breaking a piece of red stained glass and pressing the button.

Mobs

The game features a couple of different types of mobs which have their own game specific ways of attacking and interacting with players.

• The stupid Zombie - Well, he's a Zombie ... He likes brains though ...
• The bowless Bowman - A Skeleton without any Bow. Those guys become really fast but are one of the best ways of gaining points
• The generic Spider - Just a plain Spider but useful for gaining points. They like to jump into the lava pits.
• The Bowman - A normal skeleton. These guys are one of the worst enemies you will encounter in your arena. Take care of them before they can take care of you!
• The Kiddo - Zombie Kid!!!

About this map

The basic idea of this game (as already mentioned above) has been created by SethBling in 2012. The map is a complete re-creation and requires Minecraft 1.7.4.

The map currently uses 3400 blocks of Redstone Wire, 503 Repeaters, 1041 Command Blocks, 154 Comparators and 138 Hoppers (some values might differ in the current downloadable version).
