Your goal is to play it like minecraft but your in a drained ocean momument.
so make the ocean momument your home. so you got everything in there prebuilt for you so you dont have to build shelter.

whats outside?
There are 3 islands connected by bridges and tons of kelp and some ocean ruins and some trenches. There is a cave inside the moutain island if you break the oak planks sourounding it
whats inside?
A farm. A ranch. A portal room. a cobblestone generator. a guardian and squid mob grinder. an enterance. an airlock. a bedroom. a bioroom. a crafting room. obsevertority. and most rooms you just got to turn that empty room into something.
There are lots of guardians trying to keep you in (plus guardian spawners) so you got to dig underground and go above ground to that island or what ever way to build a clear enterance without getting hit by the guardians. easiest way is just swimming fast as possible to the clossest island
how to get to land?
go past the islands towards the iceburgs then you will start to see land
