A language pack is contained in the save file, which supports you to play in English(US). You may need to change your game language to switch. It works as a resource pack so it only works on the client which installed it!

◆ Gameplay

"Midnight Soul" is an ABA map built on Minecraft Java. You will play as either a Soul or a Soul Guardian, striving for victory through evasion and pursuit.

As a Soul, yearning to rebuild your physical form, you need to collect scattered Soul Shards and release the aura within them. When the surrounding aura becomes dense enough, a portal will emerge—charge it completely before the aura dissipates, and you can return to the living world through it, a process we call "revive".

As a Soul Guardian, tasked with maintaining the balance of the world, your objective is simple: stop the Souls. Whether by knocking them down so they can no longer sustain their existence, or by blocking their path until their aura is completely exhausted, you can cause them to "perish", eventually turning into lingering regrets that return to the earth.

More detailed gameplay and mechanics are explained in-game. You can check the in-game tutorial, which is located in the "Tutorial" tab under the Advancements menu. When you encounter a mechanic for the first time, a corresponding tip will also appear in the chat—so be sure to pay attention!

Random Events: Want a different gameplay experience? No problem! Echoes are global random effects that trigger by chance. They may alter certain mechanics, or even change the entire gameplay!
Well-Balanced: After incorporating numerous test results and player feedback, we've fine-tuned the balance across all mechanics. The game is now quite well-balanced, ensuring a great match experience for everyone.
Audiovisual Design: Every ability and mechanic in the game is carefully paired with custom sound and visual effects. If you're skilled enough, you can even use them to gain a competitive advantage!
Highly Customizable: Most mechanics can be adjusted – from how abilities are selected to whether random events are triggered. We also have a dedicated debug panel that even allows you to add your own maps to play!
Quantified Performance: Our sophisticated scoring algorithm calculates your performance based on in-game actions. And if you want to keep the atmosphere friendly, the debug panel also includes an option to hide rating scores!
Play Incentives: What's more, we offer a variety of cosmetics to reward your playtime… or perhaps to encourage you to uncover some hidden secrets?
