📌 About the map and its purpose
When creating this map, I was inspired by famous zombie apocalypse games and TV shows (such as The Last of Us, DayZ, The Walking Dead), as well as projects with a unique post-Soviet aesthetic (S.T.A.L.K.E.R., DayZ, and others).

This map is my test project, where I am learning large-scale building using various mods (Axiom, WorldEdit, and others).

My goal is to create an atmospheric location in a zombie apocalypse setting. The map was built with a focus on freedom of action and content creation:

Complete freedom: You can completely ignore the proposed storyline and roleplay your own history.

For content creators: The map is ideal for filming series, let's plays, or taking screenshots.

Gameplay: There is some basic loot hidden across the locations, but there are no zombie spawners or pre-spawned zombie hordes on the map. If you want a hardcore experience, I recommend installing any zombie survival mods separately.

📝 Storyline (Preface)
The action takes place in modern times, on the territory of a fictional country with a recognizable post-Soviet atmosphere.

The Beginning of the End:
In one of the secret laboratories hidden deep in the forests, a dangerous chemical leak occurred. This led to the creation of a deadly zombie virus. After containing the accident and conducting superficial decontamination, the unsuspecting employees simply went home.

But the virus was already dormant in their bodies. Inside them, it began to mutate: some died, some survived, and a few turned into the first infected. Since the employees lived in a quiet countryside, the virus instantly and ruthlessly consumed the local village.

Failure of the Authorities:
As horrifying rumors began to spread across the internet, the government underestimated the threat. A small group was sent to investigate: 2 medics and 5 soldiers. Arriving at the scene, instead of a living village, they found only crowds of the walking dead and complete devastation.

Fighting their way back to a nearby bridge, the surviving military forces, along with local police officers, set up an improvised checkpoint. The defense held for a few hours until the bridge was overwhelmed by a colossal wave of zombies. Suffering heavy casualties, the remnants of the squad disobeyed orders and deserted, attempting to evacuate their families from the country. This became a fatal mistake — some of the refugees were already infected, spreading the virus everywhere.

Your Role:
You are an ordinary tourist. While the world was going to hell, you were deep in the forest on a camping trip, completely cut off from communication and having no idea what was happening. But the time has come to return to civilization... a civilization that no longer exists.

📌 О карте и её назначении
При создании этой карты я вдохновлялся известными играми и сериалами про зомби-апокалипсис (такими как The Last of Us, DayZ, The Walking Dead), а также проектами с неповторимым постсоветским стилем (S.T.A.L.K.E.R., DayZ и другими).

Эта карта — мой тестовый проект, на котором я осваиваю масштабное строительство с помощью модов (Axiom, WorldEdit и других).

Моя цель — создать атмосферную локацию в сеттинге зомби-апокалипсиса. Карта создавалась с упором на свободу действий и создание контента:

Полная свобода: Вы можете полностью игнорировать предложенный сюжет и отыгрывать собственную историю.

Для контент-мейкеров: Карта идеально подходит для съёмок сериалов, летсплеев или скриншотов.

Геймплей: На локациях спрятан базовый лут, но спавнеров и готовых орд зомби на карте нет. Если вы хотите хардкора, рекомендую отдельно установить любые моды на нашествие зомби.

📝 Сюжет (Предисловие)
Действие разворачивается в наши дни, на территории вымышленной страны с узнаваемым постсоветским колоритом.

Начало конца:
В одной из секретных лабораторий, скрытых глубоко в лесах, произошла утечка опасных химикатов. Это привело к созданию смертоносного зомби-вируса. Ликвидировав аварию и проведя поверхностную дезинфекцию, ничего не подозревающие сотрудники разошлись по домам.

Но вирус уже спал в их телах. Внутри организма он начал мутировать: кто-то погиб, кто-то выжил, а несколько человек превратились в первых заражённых. Поскольку сотрудники жили в тихой сельской местности, вирус мгновенно и безжалостно поглотил местную деревню.

Провал властей:
Когда по интернету поползли жуткие слухи, правительство недооценило угрозу. На разведку была отправлена скромная группа: 2 медика и 5 солдат. Прибыв на место, вместо живой деревни они застали лишь толпы живых мертвецов и полную разруху.

С боем отступив к ближайшему мосту, выжившие военные вместе с местными полицейскими соорудили импровизированный блокпост. Оборона держалась несколько часов, пока мост не смяла колоссальная волна зомби. Понеся потери, остатки отряда нарушили приказ и дезертировали, попытавшись вывезти свои семьи из страны. Это стало роковой ошибкой — некоторые беженцы уже были заражены, что разнесло вирус повсюду.

Ваша роль:
Вы — обычный турист. В то время, пока мир катился в ад, вы находились глубоко в лесу на кемпинге, без связи и понятия не имели о происходящем. Но пришло время возвращаться к цивилизации... которой больше нет.
