🗺️ Update Overview

Welcome to Marketplace Update 002 for the Eternity Summer project. This massive content update focuses on breathing life into the economy and infrastructure of the world. We have transitioned from a simple survival layout to a bustling, immersive Ancient Market aesthetic.

The focus of this update was not just on expansion, but on functionality. New defense systems are now live to protect your trading hubs, roads have been widened for better traversal, and the scenery has been handcrafted to reflect a lost, historic era.

🏛️ New Features & Expansions

1. The Ancient Market District

The heart of this update is the brand-new commercial district. We have moved away from basic trading halls to fully realized, independent structures.

• Specialized Shop Structures: Added several distinct shop buildings, each with unique interior designs suited to their trade (Blacksmiths, Farmers, Librarians, etc.).

• Immersive Stalls: Scattered smaller street stalls throughout the district to create a "crowded market" feel.

• architectural Overhaul: Buildings now feature ancient-style texturing, utilizing deepslate, spruce, and terracotta combinations to give the feeling of a city that has stood for centuries.

2. Functional Defense Systems

Survival and protection are key in Eternity Summer.

• Working Defense Mechanisms: Integrated redstone and mechanical defenses around the market perimeter to protect villagers and players from raids.

• Fortified Walls: Added structural reinforcements to the main shopping areas.

• Watchtowers: Strategically placed observation points for monitoring incoming mobs.

3. Infrastructure & Road Expansion

To accommodate the new structures, the layout of the map has been significantly altered.

• Road Widening: Main avenues have been expanded to allow for horse and cart travel (and easier player movement).

• Detailed Pathing: Replaced basic dirt paths with a mix of coarse dirt, cobblestone, and mossy stone bricks to simulate worn, ancient roads.

• Connected Districts: All new shops are seamlessly connected to the previous map areas via these new road networks.

4. Environmental & Scenery Updates

The atmosphere of the map has been completely transformed.

• Beautiful Scenery: Added hand-placed custom vegetation, including overgrown bushes and vines, to blend the buildings with the terrain.

• Lighting Pass: Lanterns and hanging lights have been added throughout the market to ensure the area is safe and visually stunning at night.

• Terraforming: Minor terrain adjustments were made to ensure flat, buildable areas for the shops while maintaining the natural look of the Eternity Summer landscape.

Please read carefully before loading the map.

Native Version: This map was built and optimized for Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.21.10.

✅ Playing on Newer Versions (1.21.10+): You can safely play this map on version 1.21.10 or any higher version (e.g., 1.21.20, etc.). The map is fully forward-compatible.

❌ Playing on Older Versions (Below 1.21.10): We highly recommend upgrading your game to 1.21.10 or higher. If you must play on a lower version, you will need to use World Degradation Software (external tools to downgrade chunks/level.dat).

• Warning: Doing this may result in corrupted chunks, broken blocks, missing entities, or lighting glitches.

• Support: We cannot provide support for bugs encountered while playing on versions lower than 1.21.10.
