Hello! Welcome to the adventure map known as Advent of the Blood Storm. You play as the last of a group of heroes known as the Ascended, destined to drive back the darkness known as the Blood Storm (hence the title). This adventure map uses the custom npcs mod to its fullest extent, having custom enemies and quests for you to complete. Also included are supporting mods that help flesh out the experience and content of the adventure map. The map currently has two content patches released, with the third coming Soon^TM.

This map contains a common MMO feature: raids and dungeons. Raids are significantly harder than dungeons, but grant better loot. Stray away from them until you have completed all the dungeons a patch has to offer.

Additionally included are world bosses. These are raid-tier bosses found out in the, well, world. They will usually have some story connections and will contain a key used to unlock the final raid of the patch.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD THE CUSTOM SKINS FOR CUSTOM NPCS:

A folder named "humanmale" will be provided in the download on mediafire. Follow the instructions here to place this folder where it belongs:

1. Go to your '.minecraft' folder.

2. Open the folder called 'customnpcs'.

3. In that folder, create a folder called 'assets' if it is not already there, and open it.

4. In the 'assets' folder, create a folder called 'customnpcs' if it is not already there, and open it.

5. In the 'customnpcs' folder, create a folder called 'textures' if it is not already there, and open it.

6. In the 'textures' folder, create a folder called 'entity' if it is not already there, and open it.

7. In the 'entity' folder, paste your 'humanmale' folder from the download.

RULES:

1. Use the following gamerules if not already implemented: keepAllInventory true, doFireTick false

2. If the meteor event happens (a message will appear in chat and a sound effect will play), IMMEDIATELY SWITCH THE TIME TO DAY. I cannot stress this enough. If you do not, meteors will fall from the sky, breaking the map. You will have to restart if this is the case.

3. Use the resource pack. Some things will look weird without it.

4. Have fun to the best of your ability.

KNOWN BUGS:

If you fall into the void, your game will crash. There is no way around this. To fix this, simply remove Nature's Revenge from your mods folder, enter the world, die in the void, respawn, put Nature's Revenge back in the mods folder, and hope you don't fall into the void again.

If you exit the game while inside of a dimension provided to you by the Alternate Reality Teleporter Station, your game will crash as you are punted to the void upon leaving the dimension. Please use the steps above to fix this crash, or better yet, don't exit the game in another dimension.
