Visual Cartography is a resourcepack which aims to visually improve the cartography aspect of the game, patching details the vanilla game doesn't address.
Taking advantage of OptiFine's CIT properties, it allows players to identify what kind of quest map they're holding.
Furthermore, since the map system is vastly hardcoded, this pack allows players to change the look of the map sprite by naming it in an anvil. This feature requires the player to add "[number]" to the map's name to acquire a custom sprite. There are sprites for numbers from 0 to 26.
