Translating Minecraft mods to make everything feel more Brazilian

When I started playing Minecraft with my girlfriend, I kept running into really cool mods… but almost all of them were in English. I could understand what was written, but I kept thinking: “Man, imagine if everything was translated into Portuguese? It would be so much more enjoyable to play.”

That’s when I decided: I’m going to translate them myself. I’m just a casual player, never really messed with the technical side before, but I dove straight into programming. And honestly… it was tough. I had to rack my brain a lot, but I’m really enjoying the whole process.

The project is just getting started

The goal is to make the game better for everyone who plays in Brazilian Portuguese. If you spot any mistake, missing translation, or something that doesn’t sound right, just leave a comment. I’ll fix it as soon as I can. And if your mod is on the list and you don’t want it there, just say the word and I’ll remove it, no hard feelings.

Translation and modpack control

I’m the only one who adds or removes translations in this project. If you want me to translate a specific mod or if you want to include this pack in your own modpack, please reach out to me first. I’ll say yes, no problem — but the main reason is to keep version control and make sure the pack moves around properly. It helps keep everything organized and avoids confusion down the line.

If someone adds the pack somewhere without letting me know, it can cause version mismatches and end up confusing the community. So let’s keep things tidy.

Traduzindo mods de Minecraft pra deixar tudo mais em português brasileiro

Quando comecei a jogar Minecraft com a minha namorada, fui encontrando vários mods bem legais, mas quase todos estavam em inglês. Eu até entendia o que estava escrito, mas ficava pensando: “Poxa, imagina se tudo estivesse traduzido pro português? Ia ficar muito mais gostoso de jogar.”

Foi aí que resolvi: vou traduzir eu mesmo. Sou só um jogador casual, nunca tinha mexido muito com essa parte técnica, mas me joguei de cabeça na programação. E olha… foi puxado. Quebrei a cabeça bastante, mas estou gostando bastante do processo.

O projeto está começando agora

A ideia é melhorar a experiência de quem joga em português brasileiro. Se você encontrar algum erro, alguma tradução faltando ou algo que não ficou legal, é só comentar aqui. Eu resolvo o mais rápido possível. E se o seu mod estiver na lista e você não quiser que ele fique, é só falar que eu tiro sem problema nenhum.

Controle de traduções e modpacks

Eu sou o único que adiciona ou remove traduções nesse projeto. Se você quiser que eu traduza algum mod específico ou se quiser usar esse pacote dentro de um modpack seu, por favor me avisa antes. Eu libero tranquilo, mas o motivo principal é manter o controle de versões e garantir que o pacote circule direito. Isso evita bagunça e confusão mais pra frente.

Se alguém pegar e adicionar em algum lugar sem me falar, pode acabar gerando problema de versão e deixando a galera confusa. Então, vamos manter as coisas organizadas.
