Description
The Forgotten Shroomland [V1.1.0]
This resourcepack completely reimagines the Deep Dark into an overgrown cavern filled with flesh-eating green mushrooms, to match the biome's vibe better with other programmer art packs, like Golden Days. The Deep Dark always felt out of place in these packs, so I had decided to fully overhaul it to become a lot darker in tone, and much more fitting with early Minecraft's theming. Speaking of, it is based around b1.7.3 - r1.8, and all screenshots are using the Golden Days resource pack in the background. All textures relating to the Deep Dark, in the images, are mine.
If you use the resources in a modpack, or anything, let me know! But do make sure to provide an actual link back to this page. Thanks!

- He's also had a remodel, so you'll need EMF and ETF for that.
Miscellaneous Notes
The sounds aren't done yet, and will probably be coming in a future patch. Don't worry, you'll survive without crappy stock sounds from a library that hasn't been updated since 2008.
Speaking of future patches, I didn't realise you guys in the United States spelt "Mould" like "Mold" in your modded fork of English, so I'll make sure to fix that next, too.
There was something else I wanted to mention... eh, I can't remember.
If you've got any questions, feel free to DM me on Discord. My handle is "moonthecraft". I'm in a few Minecraft related servers (specifically Golden Age ones), so you can also find me there, too.
I'll probably do the same thing I did with this pack for other elements of the modern game that don't really fit the vibes of early Minecraft. I think I had the idea to do something similar for the End, and make it all, sorta, skyland-sy themed. You guys remember the old leaks for the skylands dimension? Like that, pretty much.
Uh, cool.
Thanks for reading that rambling, I guess.
