Simple Plastic
Every block, one colour. Flat, dull, and clean.
Simple Plastic strips Minecraft down to its purest visual form — every block rendered as a single flat, muted colour with a subtle darker border, like matte plastic tiles. No noise, no detail, no distractions. Just clean, readable colour blocking that makes builds easier to read from a distance and runs light on any system.
Features
- One colour per block — every face of every block uses the same flat, dull tone
- Consistent dull "plastic" palette — every colour was generated through the same desaturation/lightness formula, so nothing clashes
- 16x16 resolution, fully vanilla-compatible
- ~775 block textures covering:
- Stone, deepslate, nether, and end block families
- All ores + raw/refined mineral blocks + full copper oxidation ladder
- Every wood type (including Cherry, Pale Oak, Bamboo, Crimson/Warped)
- All 16 dye colours across wool, concrete, terracotta, glass, candles, and carpet
- Crops, plants, aquatic blocks, ice & snow
- Redstone components and furniture-style functional blocks
- The new 26.2 Sulfur & Cinnabar blocks
- Glass keeps a translucent centre with a solid darker frame — windows still let light through
- Lightweight zip, drag-and-drop install, no resource pack conversion needed
Compatibility
Built for Minecraft Java Edition 26.2. Any block not explicitly covered simply falls back to the vanilla texture — nothing breaks.
Installation
- Download the
.zip
- Drop it into
.minecraft/resourcepacks (don't unzip it)
- Enable it in Options → Resource Packs
Notes
- Blocks rendered via entity models (chests, beds, shulker boxes, signs, banners, item frames) aren't covered in this version
- Grass, leaves, and water may appear with a slight biome colour tint — that's Minecraft's built-in tinting layered on top, not a bug
