ANNOUNCEMENT
As of November 7, 2023, in response to CurseForge's stance on current political issues, I will officially be moving my projects from CurseForge to Modrinth. I am currently in the process of adding my previous projects onto Modrinth's website, so expect that to be completed over the next couple weeks.
I will no longer be updating any mods posted to CurseForge, however I won't delete the projects in order to not break any of my mods linked to a modpack. I strongly encourage anyone looking to download my projects to do so from my page on Modrinth's website (https://modrinth.com/user/S33R_OF_PYR3). The pack REQUIRES Optifine to work at all, the only thing that'll change without it would be the enchantment glint I gues :p
This was in the works for a while, my visual potions pack! Do you find it difficult to discern different potion types without reading it? Me too, also the enchantment glint is too much™.
This pack gives every potion effect a custom appearance and color codes the bottle caps based on whether they are the default potion, longer duration, or stronger. Brown cap is normal, red cap (red like redstone wow) is lengthened, and yellow cap (yellow like glowstone :o) is strengthened. I also retextured each bottle type along with the honey bottle, dragon's breath, and experience bottle.
Lastly, this pack changes the enchantment glint to a more subtle glow so it's easier to tell the colors apart. The glint is still purple, but if you prefer the OG glint you can go into the pack and delete the enchantment_glint.png file from the assets/minecraft/textures/misc folder. If you use a different enchantment glint resource pack just put that pack above S33R Visual Potions in the resource pack menu.
Hope this helps people differentiate potions better, it always bugged me but making it required a property file for literally every single type of potion (I think that's over 100...) so it took a minute. Leave a comment or diamond if you like ^-^

oo also, just to get some hype, I do art and I miiiiiiight be making stickers an stuff to buy sometime in the future (v loose, packing and shipping is a hurdle to get over >->) so if you like the stuff I make, mayhaps you'll be interested in that.
