Resources made for my upcoming modpack "Project Knox", a Minecraft modpack heavily inspired by the mechanics, and atmosphere of the indie game "Project Zomboid."
While this modpack does not aim to replicate the experience of Project Zomboid 1:1 in its entirety (as there are quite a few things in this modpack that deviate from the existing gameplay structure of Project Zomboid.) As much as I'd like to have the knowledge, time, and manpower to recreate the Zomboid experience completely on Java Minecraft, I unfortunately do not have that ability (yet.) So project Knox is planned to be the next best thing in my book, using as many mods as I could find to create something similar to that experience, and actually make a zombie apocalypse modpack that balances Quality, fidelity, gameplay, atmosphere, environment, exploration, and most of all, performance.
This resource pack currently only contains music. Fully replacing every aspect of Minecraft's OST with music from Project Zomboid, As well as a remix of the main menu theme used for the Ender Dragon fight by Daniel Grusuk who gave me explicit permission to use his track.
I'd like to give a big thanks to The Indie Stone for creating Project Zomboid which made this possible. This is an unofficial fan production for non-commercial purposes made under the Indie Stone Terms And if you haven't heard of Project Zomboid, and are looking for a hyper-immersive, zombie survival game, you can buy the game on Steam, which I absolutely recommend it for any hardcore zombie fans out there.
(For those of you who may be questioning my ability to use the Project Zomboid soundtrack, The Indie Stone states in their Terms and Conditions that they give users the license to:
2.2. Use art, music, video footage or other assets of Project Zomboid for creative purposes in any way you like providing the end result is related in some way to promoting Project Zomboid or The Indie Stone, is for non-commercial use only
And of course, just in case, I emailed The Indie Stone for clarification, and it seems like i'm all clear to use their music. I will of course take this mod down upon request by The Indie Stone if they feel as though I have wrongly used their music.)
