Pixel Reality - Atmosphere
Realistic sky, sun and moon with vanilla textures or any other pack of your choice! High-res enough to look good with HD packs.
- If you like this pack don't ask me if you can use it, but suggest people to use it together with your own pack, that's the whole point of format changes Mojang introduced months ago.
- If you want to let people know of this pack do it by posting a link to this page so I get credit and downloads.
To make this pack work properly you need to mod your game with Optifine. If you don't, only the sun and the moon will change. Once downloaded, put it in your resource pack folder, start Minecraft, go to the resource pack menu, move them on top of your other resource packs and finally confirm to apply the changes.
NOTE: I suggest turning off vanilla clouds so those ugly white boxes don't get in the way; go to options -> video settings -> details -> clouds height
PR Atmosphere shouldn't give issues with any pack regardless of version and resolution, as long as it doesn't add a huge amount of sky boxes itself.
This pack is included in the Pixel Reality resource pack, you might want to check it out if you need a realistic 16x pack.
Also check Pixel Reality - Luminance: it adds realistic light effects to vanilla or any pack, it's a good companion to Atmosphere if you want to give a realistic feel to your favorite pack.

I don't think so, it looks like that mod has nothing to do with custom sky boxes.
hello does it work in 1.18
In reply to y0Pat_:
Yes it does.
in the 1.16 version, when i first load a world, every oak and iron door as well as pressure plates will all be missing textures, until i do F3 + T
Hey, I really like your pack. Can you make a version for FabricSkyboxes mod?
In reply to Pabli:
Not right now. It's not available for 1.17 and honestly it seems too much of a side project to bother converting my pack. If at least they made the mod compatible with Optifine format without changing things for the sake of it...
In reply to Wedhro:
It is available for 1.17 https://modrinth.com/mod/fabricskyboxes
I tried converting it by using MCPPPP tool, but it does not work correctly.
I do agree with you that there should just be optifine compatible mod.
In reply to Pabli:
Unfortunately converting the pack would not be trivial because it doesn't work like Optifine and I simply have no time to do that. Did you try OptiFabric? It should make Optifine work with Fabric, even if last time I tried it it didn't work.
In reply to Wedhro:
Optifabric works good, but I wanted to use other optimizing mods. Anyway, thanks for help.
It should be a great idea to have a screenshot of detail settings screen to see what is on or off. ^^ It will help
i have sky glitches even if i turn render distance above 6( im using the version 1,12,2
In reply to derdiedasmelek:
Would you share a screenshot where glitches are visible, with the debug screen on (press F3)?
I have a problem.
I am using the 1.13 version, it worked fine but there are no clouds appearing
Pd: I am using optifine
In reply to redrockmine03:
In order to make this pack work you must turn on custom sky in Optifine's options; also, it your view distance is very short the skybox is not rendered.
In reply to Wedhro:
Thanks dude
Does this pack have a 'full' version?
In reply to mrdinosaur666:
Do you know what could cause these additional purple suns? The sunrays start in a different position to the sun as well. I guess they are out of sync. 1.12-Forge-2705, OptiFine 1.12.2 HD U E2, PRJE+Atmosphere+1.12
