What is an Otorongo?
The Peruvian otorongo (Panthera onca peruviana) is a subspecies of the jaguar. It is found in the forests of southern Peru (mostly in the Department of Madre de Dios, although it is also present in the Department of Ucayali) and part of the tropical forest of Bolivia.

¿Qué es un Otorongo?
El jaguar u otorongo peruano (Panthera onca peruviana) es una subespecie del jaguar. Se encuentra en los bosques del sur de Perú (mayormente en Departamento de Madre de Dios, aunque también tiene presencia en Departamento de Ucayali) y parte del bosque tropical de Bolivia.
