I use the amazing mod "Weaker Spiderwebs" by the true GOAT modder Serilum, that allows you to just walk through webs (slightly slowly) to break them. I got really tired of unnecessarily collecting VAST amounts of string by doing this.
There was no mod to fix this issue, so I made it.
Here 'ya go. lol
