Mellowed is a 16x resource pack that aims to stay as loyal as possible to the vanilla textures while overhauling the game for a softer, cozier, and dare I say more mellow aesthetic.

Do you enjoy the color palette and aesthetic of cottage core packs like Mizuno's and Kova but don't like that your vanilla builds may look completely different?
Do you want the warm and comforting tones of a Minecraft sunrise with your favorite shader pack but don't want to take the FPS hit?
Yeah me too, and that's why this pack has been made (hopefully) perfect just for you!

My Process

Mellowed seeks to work within the bounds of vanilla Minecraft, instead of drawing something from a blank canvas I'm carefully tweaking the hue and contrast of the textures to create something new that I hope anyone will be able to appreciate.
My goal is to take the softening of textures Minecraft received in 1.13 to the next level, and make more invasive changes only when strictly necessary.
You can think of this as the "Resource Pack of Theseus"

Here Be Dragons

This project is still in very early Beta, only a small percentage of textures have currently been tweaked and these early beta versions exist primarily as a way to gather feedback from all of you who give it a shot and download anyway.
While in Beta this project will be receiving frequent regular updates, if you want to see every new texture as it comes out make sure to follow it by clicking the little heart icon here on curseforge!
