Description
Gothic Script
A medieval blackletter font for Minecraft 26.3, readable in chat, tooltips, quest texts and above every villager.
Gothic Script replaces the default Minecraft font with a gothic typeface that fits medieval, RPG and fantasy worlds, without turning every sentence into a puzzle. It was made for the Medieval Immersed modpack, but works with any setup.
Features
- 204 hand-checked glyphs: A–Z, a–z, digits, all Latin-1 accents (ä ö ü ß é ñ …), € and typographic punctuation (– — „ " ' … •)
- Bitmap font: renders like the vanilla font, so it works with Iris / Sodium and shader packs. TTF-based font packs can show black bars instead of nametags with shaders.
- Readable at game size: chosen for long texts such as quests, JEI and Jade tooltips, villager trades and chat
- Safe fallback: any character the font does not cover (Cyrillic, Greek, CJK, symbols) automatically falls back to the vanilla font, so nothing disappears
- Client-side only: no mods required, works on any server
Compatibility
| Minecraft | 26.3 (resource pack format 97) |
| Mod loader | none required (Fabric, NeoForge, vanilla) |
| Shaders | Iris and Complementary, BSL and other shader packs |

Deutsch
