ElegantArmor 1.0.0 - Initial release (Minecraft Java 26.3)
New
- Redesigned armor for leather, chainmail, iron, gold, diamond, netherite and copper.
- Crown with small spikes in relief (leather armor has no helmet decoration).
- Thin metal pauldrons instead of a full chestplate.
- Leather harness: crossed straps on the chest and back, with a leather band under the chest and small rivets.
- Small leather hip pouch held by a strap on the right thigh.
- Sleek low metal sabatons with a thin leather ankle strap.
- Chainmail uses the same checkered mesh as the original armor.
- Leather armor can still be dyed: metal parts take the dye color, straps stay brown.
- Armor trims adapted to the design: they only appear on the crown band, the pauldrons and the sabatons. The 18 vanilla patterns share 6 original motifs.
- Leather helmets do not display a trim.
- 3D details work for the player model, classic and slim.
- Pack icon added.
Requirements
- Minecraft Java Edition 26.3
- Entity Model Features (required for the 3D details; without it only the flat textures are visible)
Known limitations
- Armor worn by mobs only gets the new textures, not the 3D details.
- Leggings show no trim.
- Tested on 26.3 with Fabric and Entity Model Features 3.3.12 only.
