Drop the Beam Instruments

Recorded instruments for the speakers of Drop the Beam: MuseScore General and VSCO 2, in place of the built-in synthesizer.
An optional resource pack for Drop the Beam: the mod's speakers play recorded instruments instead of its built-in synthesizer.
- MuseScore General (version 0.2), the General MIDI sound bank, unmodified: every instrument a MIDI disc can ask for.
- VSCO 2 Community Edition (version 1.1.0), orchestral samples: strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion, converted to Ogg Vorbis for the game.
Install
- Install Drop the Beam (Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge).
- Put this zip in the
resourcepacksfolder of the client. - Enable it in Options, Resource Packs. Disable it to go back to the synthesizer.
The pack is client side: each player chooses. It is large (about 250 MB) because it holds real recordings.

MuseScore General is shared under the MIT license; its full license with the notices of its authors (Frank Wen, Michael Cowgill, S. Christian Collins, Ethan Winer, Michael Schorsch) is inside the pack. VSCO 2 Community Edition is by Versilian Studios (Sam Gossner) with Ivy Audio (Simon Dalzell), shared under CC0 1.0. The mod Drop the Beam itself is All Rights Reserved, by THEFricadelle, and is not part of this pack.
