This license applies to all textures, images, GUI assets and other
artwork under /assets/ and /assets_1.21/ (the "Assets").

1. Ownership
   All Assets are © their respective creators. Dark-mode edits are
   Â© Aric3435. Third-party mod textures remain property of their
   original mod authors and are included either under their original
   license or with permission.

2. No Standalone Redistribution
   You may NOT re-upload, re-host, mirror, or redistribute the Assets
   as a standalone pack (in whole or in part) on any third-party
   site, including but not limited to 9Minecraft, Gamerunner and
   similar aggregator/ad-wall sites. Monetized mirrors are strictly
   prohibited.

3. Approved Distribution Only
   Official standalone releases are published ONLY on:
   - CurseForge
   - Modrinth
   - Planet Minecraft
   - GitHub Releases (aricloverEXTRA/Default-Dark-Mode-Expansion)
   - Codeberg Releases (aric3435/Default-Dark-Mode-Expansion)
   Any other standalone source is unauthorized.

4. Allowed Uses (Exceptions to §2)

   a) Personal Use — download and use for personal, non-commercial
      gameplay.

   b) Content Creation — you MAY showcase, review, stream, and
      include screenshots/video of the pack (YouTube, Twitch, TikTok,
      articles, etc.) with credit and a link to an official source.
      No permission needed.

   c) Modpack Inclusion — you MAY bundle the pack *inside* a
      modpack zip published on CurseForge or Modrinth. You must
      credit "Default Dark Mode: Expansion by Aric3435" with a link
      to the official page, not claim ownership, and not re-upload
      the pack separately for ad revenue. Players may then play that
      modpack on any launcher (Prism Launcher, ATLauncher, GDLauncher,
      etc.) — the CurseForge/Modrinth rule is about where the modpack
      is *published*, not where it is *played*.
      For modpacks published elsewhere, please link to the official
      pack page as a dependency instead of bundling, or ask permission.
      Standalone reposts outside a modpack are not allowed.

   You may not create or distribute a fork/derivative resource pack
   using these Assets as a standalone release without written
   permission.

5. Mod Author Takedown
   If you are a mod author and want your GUI/assets removed or
   credited differently, open an issue or contact @aricloverEXTRA
   on GitHub — prompt removal/credit fix guaranteed.

6. Contributions
   By contributing textures/code via Pull Request you agree to license
   your contribution under the same terms as this repository (MIT for
   code, All Rights Reserved for Assets) and confirm you have the
   right to do so.

This pack is provided for aesthetic purposes. No copyright
infringement is intended. MIT license in LICENSE.txt applies to
code ONLY and does not apply to Assets.
