You need optifine and the Custom Scythes datapack for this to work!

Note:this datapack and texturepack does not add an completely different weapon to the game. Instead it uses "custom model data" to change the existing textures and models! but dont worry it doesnt replace anything so every item/block should be still vanilla (if you are not using any other mods, texturepack or datapacks.
