Cobblemon PT-BR Descriptions
A Brazilian Portuguese (PT-BR) translation Resource Pack for Cobblemon.
This Resource Pack was originally created for the Cobblemon Dark modpack, but it can also be used with any compatible Cobblemon installation.
This Resource Pack translates descriptions, tooltips, Pokédex entries, interfaces, and other in-game texts into Brazilian Portuguese while preserving the original English names for:
- Pokémon
- Moves
- Abilities
- Items
- Status effects
- Battle terminology (when appropriate)
The goal is to make Cobblemon easier to understand for Portuguese-speaking players without changing the official names used by the Pokémon games, competitive communities, guides, and wikis.

❓ Why keep move names in English?
Many players use online guides, competitive resources, YouTube videos, and community discussions that reference the original English move names.
Keeping these names unchanged improves compatibility while still translating the descriptions, making it easier to understand what every move actually does.
📦 Installation
- Download the Resource Pack.
- Place it inside your Minecraft
resourcepacks folder.
- Enable it in the Resource Packs menu.
- Make sure it is loaded above other Resource Packs that modify Cobblemon language files.
🔄 Compatibility
Designed for the latest supported versions of Cobblemon.
If a new Cobblemon update introduces untranslated text, missing descriptions, or new content, support will be added in future updates.
