GUESS WHOS BACK AFTER 6 MONTHS!
I haven't died. I just took a break for a while.
While playing my custom 1.12.2 modpack, birch leaves showed up as white instead of its original color. Turns out, the foliage colors didn't work on birch leaves and the grass colormap didn't work for birch forests. I was only able to restore the birch leaves color by just using an image from the wiki.
