This resource pack works for the latest versions of minecraft and below down to version 1.8.9.
This resource pack requires Optifine OR Fabric with the mods listed in the spoiler below to work.

Mods needed to make the Better Chickens resource pack work with Fabric/Sodium are listed below. All mods go in the minecraft mods folder.

Make sure all mods match your version of Fabric.

Chickens are updated to look more realistic.
Updated chicken models have realistic animations.
Baby chickens are updated to look like actual chicks.

your pack works on latest fabric with sodium version alpha6 and cem and CIT resewen and animatica and continuity and chime and puzzle and Entity Texture Features in 1.18.1. there is no need for optifine :D with all of this mods that are lighter and much optimized than optifine you can get it working.
you can add in description that this pack works without optifine as well
Can't you make without optifine? I really wanna use this (all, actually), but I use Fabric

In fabric there is a mod called optofabric basocally a optifine for fabric but you can use the CEM mod

Hello! Can I have your permission to use this compilation of resource packs to make a "Vanilla Enhancement" theme pack and I really love the new chicken models because of this. I'll leave a credit for you and this pack if its necessary.

Unfortunately not sure why only 1 model works out of all of them, the rest have missing and transparent textures
Happening with better cows, pigs and sheep as well

After that go to assets > minecraft > textures > entity and remove all files related to these mobs again.

Better cows please? Probably the worst animal IMO... some variety would go a long way.... and then better fish!
One of the chickens is missing tissue. (1.15.2)

I have this problem too with several chicken colors. The only other resource pack I have is Lithos 1.4.2. I have changed load order and it doesn't fix it. My only option is to choose one resource pack or the other. Your other better animals mods work fine.
