WHY GREEN BORDERS AS OPPOSED TO OTHER COLORS???

Green is a complimentary color to red, and also contrasts well with grey and black. This makes it the perfect color to use, as cave systems, mineshafts, and the nether all consist greatly of red, grey, and black.
