Farloom 0.4.0 Beta

  • Added dedicated Distant Horizons terrain and water programs for long-range exploration.
  • Rebuilt the near-to-LOD transition around a clean radial handoff with projection-safe material classification.
  • Removed the dark glass/slime overlay and restored readable block texture and material separation in low light.
  • Reworked Fancy foliage with opaque accepted fragments and a coherent inner canopy for stable crowns at expedition distances.
  • Reduced crawling detail, floating vegetation shelves and oversized distant geometry artifacts.
  • Added rain-aware haze, readable nights and separate Nether and End grades.
  • Added five quality profiles and legacy OptiFine aliases while retaining the full modern Iris path.
  • Packaged 65 stable Minecraft release tags from 1.8.9 through 26.2; see COMPATIBILITY.md for exact runtime anchors.
