Merged the Iris Distant Horizons test version & the Optifine version. the iris version had some improvements to defaults and bugs.

if you have any problems, please report them, I didn't have time to test this more than like 10 minutes after everything compiled on both and looked ok.

having these merged i can try to tackle some bugs and improvements now. please enjoy!

❗Known bugs: when not using distant horizons, water and glass do not show when there is only sky behind them. This is a border fog issue and I will try to get it fixed soon. In the mean time, if you are on optifine or not using Iris with distant horizons, the last release might be better choice, or turn off border fog.

Here's the last change log, some of this is new to optifine, most of it is distant Horizons related and only for iris.

new CHANGES: maybe work on intel gpu

recent CHANGES: fixed bugs, option to remove the janky sky lighting, simple normal map generator, default seeting is now a variant of Low. RESET settings for something that will just work with good fps ,restored bounce lighting, shadows can cast from dh chunks, dh chunk lighting is almost full, just missing shadows, no more ghosting in the sky on ultra and cook an egg presets, pbr on far chunks: soft leaves, shiny metal glowing lava etc, even smoother blending, workaround for dark metals and diamond armor, leaves color adjuster, LOWER DEFAULT DH FOG, disabled killswitch by default

-❗if not using a resource pack with normal maps, use a low preset or the ray traced sky lighting will look like shifting reflections, you can also disable sky ray tracing in the main menu

-low preset is recommended for most PCs, High for high end PCs, Ultra+ will not get 60fps with a good resource pack but will look better. high and up have pathtraced bounce lighting

-Medium currently looks very blue because the ray tracing sky light is defaulted off but it's made for it to be on, you can turn it on for soft shadows and better color but it will often look like shifty reflections. every other preset looks better

-❗if the sky is super bright, turn off vanilla clouds

-This shader is increasingly difficult for me to maintain, If you want better effects and support and compatibility, come to my discord or youtube and check out the new shader I'm working on, it has better compatibiliy already.
