Zegaroth's Magiverse Lite

In the original mod pack, my goal was to create a world to explore where you would never get bored, combined with the tools to explore it and fun ways to research and build these tools. The goal of this modpack is the same, but many things have been removed to enhance play-ability, leaving only the essentials: namely, Thaumcraft and Astral Sorcery for researching and using powerful magic, and the new dimensions to explore such as the Aether, Twilight Forest and Betweenlands. Ice and Fire adds dragons and other creatures that make the overworld world far more interesting, and you can tame many of them! Quark makes caves more fun to explore with new underground biomes, and Tinker's Construct lets you build custom tools so you can feel like a true master of the crafts. Last but certainly not least, Valkyrien Warfare is still here, allowing you to build fantastic airships that you can walk on, and even grow crops and build redstone machines! You could build your entire base on a moving airship as you search the land for treasure.

 

Note: If you plan on using shaders, you'll need to manually uninstall FoamFix and BetterPortals and install OptiFine. Go to C:\Users\(YOUR_USERNAME)\Twitch\Minecraft\Instances\Zegaroth's Magiverse\mods and delete the FoamFix and BetterPortals files. Then drag and drop the OptiFine jar file into the mods folder. 

One more warning for those who use shaders: most shaders cause the game to malfunction when entering The Betweenlands dimension, since this dimension has its own shaders. Luckily there is a fix for this: go to C:\Users\(YOUR_USERNAME)\Twitch\Minecraft\Instances\Zegaroth's Magiverse\config\thebetweenlands and open the config file with a text editor. Find rendering, and set B:use_shader to false.

 

If you use airships, you'll probably want to turn dragon griefing off lest your airship get roasted. You can change this setting by going to C:\Users\(YOUR_USERNAME)\Twitch\Minecraft\Instances\Zegaroth's Magiverse Lite\config and finding the Ice and Fire config. Set Dragon Griefing equal to 2 to disable it. You can also reduce the spawn rate of dragon roosts by setting the Generate Dragon Roost Chance to a higher number.
