XPloration is exactly what the title states, good minecraft. It adds new ways to have fun in Minecraft and focuses on exploration! It has mods that better the experience of the world and adds fun new challenges to overcome.
XPloration-v1 is a modpack intended for exploration, and thus adds new biomes, caves, dimensions, and more. It also adds new bosses, and mobs that you would probably never encounter in the average modpack experience. Not to mention, does not have hundreds of mods, like most modpacks -so you dont need to turn your render distance down to 2 just so you can play.
