The Xelaplus mudpack was designed around the idea of a RPG inspired survival experience cupeled with diverse late game goals to strive for. Mods such as Antique Atlas, Waystones and multiple structure generation mods help not just provide incentive to explore, but make it more accessible. In this pack the mobs are being buffed by Infernal Mobs, Rough Mobs, IncreaseMobs, Epic Siege Mod, and Hardcore Darkness! This takes the deadly dungeons from Doomlike, Roguelike, and DungeonDQ past the point of ridiculousness. However as some testers found turtling through dungeons too simple. So we added Tough As Nails just to add a few more considerations to complement hunger. The madness is rewarding however. We offer Mekanism, and Botania to fulfill Mid tier tech requirements. Yes, I just said Mekanism is mid tier. Our end-game choice of Mystical Agriculture, Bees (Forestry, More Bees, Gendustry), Computers (OpenComputers, Open Modular Passive Defense, OpenModularTurrets)

We are developing the focus of our server pack around progression mods such as Tinkers Construct and late game mods like Applied Energistics 2. We also wanted a bit of an MMO feel so we added Levels, Hearts & Damage, Antique Atlas, and Signpost. To add something for everyone we included a lot of tech and magic also. We chose to feature Big Reactors, Ender IO, Immersive Engineering, and Mekanism for the tech; and Ars Magica 2, Talismans 2, and Thaumcraft for the magic.However with these mods come power creep. In order to balance this creep we included a number of mods to increase the difficulty of the game; such as Iguanas Tinker Tweaks, Difficult Life, Special Mobs, and AtomicStryker's Infernal Mobs. Having challenging mobs is fun, but introducing more, larger world generation to make use of them is even better so we included Roguelike Dungeons, Runic Dungeons, and Better Dungeons.

We are currently working together as a 3 member team to fix config issues as they arise and have found it difficult to keep the same configs between us. We want to get this pack finished soon, and believe the curse platform can help streamline this process.
