A shattered world. A mysterious entity. Only one way to stop it all.

World's Coliding is a narrative exploration and PvE modpack with a bit of Create to pass the time. It offers a simple but entirely custom-made story, with an interactive dialogue system, choices that truly matter, and a world that evolves with each chapter.
The goal is as clear as it is ambitious : upgrade your sword, chapter after chapter, to face a mysterious entity that threatens everything that exists.
But don't expect to just "craft a diamond sword", the recipes are deeply modified, much more complex than in the base game, and every progression is earned. Bosses to defeat, structures to explore, ores to unearth : everything is there, within reach, provided you go and look for it.

Over 800 quests await you !
Narrative quests that move the story forward. Side quests to hunt optional bosses and become even more powerful. Collection quests for completionists who want everything : swords, armors, artifacts and magic !
Minecraft Comes Alive is also integrated, with its optional questline, the only way to have villages, entirely redesigned to match the evolution of the story.
And because exploration shouldn't be the only option, each chapter also offers its own little Create production line, not mandatory but frankly nice for quietly developing your base, and sometimes capable of saving several hours of grinding.
Every quest as a full description, with various and useful infomation as to what and how do it. They are very linear, every quest have it's place ! The description are avaible in : English and French
Furthermore, all of those quest have interesting rewards, including but not limited to : lootboxes for annoying to get items, money to spend on stuff you dont want to grind and most importantly skill points, used in the modpack own skill tree !

Over fifty bosses await you, each more epic and fearsome than the last. The world is riddled with structures, some for decoration, while others hide dungeons, rare resources, or terrifying bosses.
The bosses are organized by tiers. To face a boss of a certain level, you need weapons of the same level. No shortcuts possible. No cheating. A true progression that imposes itself. Well, if you really want to go to the final boss right from the start, no one will stop you, but it will quite simply be impossible.
A deliberate choice : no Waystones in this modpack. The only means of teleportation ? A single Set Home, and even then, you only get one. Exploration must be earned. Crossing the world, sometimes for what feels like an eternity, is an integral part of the experience. This choice also encourages the development of your own methods of locomotion, and creates exploration moments that feel almost infinite. A fully embraced decision.

Several mods add new biomes and new dimensions, and none of them are empty.
Each one is populated: Alex's Caves biomes integrated into the new dimensions, unique structures, major bosses, specific resources. These dimensions have something to offer you. You won't just go fetching a list of resources to leave right away.

Boss tiers, weapon tiers, pickaxe tiers, armor tiers, everything follows a coherent and thought-out progression.
Certain ores can only be mined with certain pickaxes. Advanced crafts require the previous crafts. Nothing is skipped.
The most powerful weapons deal up to 1,000 damage per hit. The bosses facing them tank proportionally, it takes about 80 hits with a weapon of the same tier to take them down. A progressive increase in power, well-balanced, which gives each upgrade the feeling of having truly accomplished something.

The experience is designed for singleplayer, but multiplayer is entirely possible. As a matter of fact, a server is available, find the link on our Discord !

I may have been the one making the most of this modpack, but it would be quite ungrateful, as well as fully hypocrite to not mention the people which made everything possible :
Thanks to GCJOJO, for the precious help with development and the good ideas along the way.
Thanks to the Minecraft Wiki, for the textures without which I would be in quite a bind.
Thanks to Aseprite, the software with which all the sprites were created.
Thanks to BlockBench, for the models and animations.
Thanks to all the mod creators who are part of this modpack, they are its heart, and their source code has considerably helped me "learn" how to program mine.
Finally, thanks to LatvianModder's KubeJS Discord, which saved me from sleepless nights.
And most importantly, thanks to you, for downloading the modpack and supporting me. I sincerely hope you will have a great time. Kisses.
