In some old versions and zombie modpack, swim mechanics is old, and this make some 1.13+ players frustrated by the slowness of water movement, especially in underwater combats and flee of enemies though river. Now, in World War Z, with Aqua Acrobatic mod, you can do it - and even change the whole Minecraft movements mechanics such as climbing with space button, crawling with keybind.
In the world, you can find a lot of traces of fallen civilization, such as tent, crop field, ruined house, etc. Sometimes, you can find a temple in the jungle or desert with full of loot inside. But be careful because those temples are full of danger too!
If you think in this zombie world, zombies is the most dangerous threat, you're wrong. In this apocalypse days, not everyone you see can becoming friend with you. You must beware of them, because you can't know he/she can make friend or foe with you! Because the zombies isn't your only threat, and even your "friends" can deceit and silently kill you ... in anytime.
The bandits in this modpack are the survivors, but they are now becoming dangerous and inhumanness, killing and griefing anywhere and anyone they saw without any law punishment. With the fallen of society, those bandits are widespread all over the world. They lives inside fortified base, where contains a lot of good loots. If you are enough weapons, you can try to get some goods of them.
But don't worry, because your world is not only enemies. Some people who lives in villages are friendly. You can reach those village, trade with survivors, doing tasks and gain reputation. You can get tasks by finding bounty box below. If you are too unlucky or too lazy to find a village, you can craft it for you (find in JEI).
Villages are now change a lot: bounty board in every village, 1.14+ village, village are spawn in all biomes, and more! Example:
If you are survive long enough, an airdrop will spawns in the world. You can find anything necessary for survival like foods, weapons, and tools. If you are lucky enough, gold apples can be found inside too!
If you join the world in the first time, you will have some weapons, tools, and a canteen to make your start easier. NOTICE: Avoid drinking unclean water because you can get parasite by uncleaned water!
No, it isn't Scape & Run Parasites, it just an effect which drains hunger bar and dealt damage to you. You can drink milk to remove this effect like any vanilla effects too. To get rid of those annoying parasites, you need to boil water bucket/bottles or make some filters to clean them.
