2022-01-02 update

This update improves the (re)spawning settings for a better multiplayer experience, which was broken before. This will be the last update. The project is discontinued, and anyone is free to do anything with the modpack, as far as i'm concerned. I have however been working on another larger modpack whenever I find time. ETA for that modpack: somewhere in 2022.

Since I had planned large updates for this modpack, it makes more sense to create another project for it. Some parts will be improved (e.g. limiting random spawning as it currently is counter to the idea of playing this modpack with multiple players), and the focus will change from Thaumcraft to survival-themed magic and exploration, with the addition of ElectroBlobbs Wizardry besides Thaumcraft. Big changes will be in terms of the early game now taking longer (survival), exploration being more rewarding (Finding spellbooks and encountering more challenging enemies), and the multiplayer experience vastly improved. As part of this change, it is likely the following mods will be included in the new project, in addition to the existing mods listed:

~~- last but not least: many mods that are also included in the RLCraft modpack (Shivaxi)... including fire dragons and ice dragons~~

The idea is that this will create a balance between a challenging gameplay and richness of content. It starts out rather tough, but slowly the player becomes extremely powerful as they gather spells, progress in Thaumaturgy, or gear up with Spartan Weaponry, Baubles and Dragon/Serpent armor. At the same time, they have to be wary of the total darkness especially during a new moon or blood moon, or live the nights and avoid daylight as a powerful vampire!

This, my first minecraft modpack, is a minecraft magic pack which tries to NOT be cluttered or intrusive in any way.

Core mods of this pack:

- Thaumcraft

- Thaumic Augmentation

- Enchanting with Thaumcraft

- Thaumcraft 6 aspects 4 JEI

- Thaumic Brewing

- Thaumic Tinkerer

- Baubles

As you can see, this modpack is centered around Thaumcraft (given its non-intrusive and seamless integration into a vanilla minecraft), including Thaumcraft-extending mods into one big 'Thaumcraft plus' experience. From 1.1 onwards It has the following mods to add to a multiplayer mystical experience in a challenging way:

- Vampirism

- Hardcore Darkness

- The Twilight Forest

- Waystones

- RandomRespawn

- Teams

- JEI

- CTM-MC

- Patchouli

More may be added in the future, and others may be removed. The modpack is however intended to remain lightweight.
