World of Moecraft is an entirely open-ended minecraft experience where nothing and no one will point you in any direction. You must decide for yourself what you want in the world, be it an architect creating beautiful homes, or an adventurer seeking to slay every boss they can find. You might be an explorer enjoying the scenes of the various realms, maybe even gathering supplies for your friends while you do it! Sophisticated Backpacks will allow you to hold as much as you can, and Tom's Simple Storage Mod will help your home to be neatly organized after each of your ventures. If you want to be a farmer or a cook you could utilize numerous quality of life farming mods like watering cans and Tinker's scythes. Pam's Harvestcraft 2 allows for the farming of hundreds of different crops, and thousands of different recipes to create for you and your allies to feast like royalty.
Now if you want to explore, you will need to be able to survive. Strong weapons and armor can be acquired from a variety of different realms, but the overworld itself will allow you to forge legendary gear using the Dragon Forge from Ice and Fire... if you can survive the perils surrounding the process. To supplement the gear you acquire, enchanting has been heavily expanded and made far more accessible, with a huge variety of new enchantments added and the costs and limitations of high level enchantments being made for more manageable.
For a more customizable weapons and armor experience that forgoes enchanting, craft a Tinker’s Anvil and click the blue manuscript button to access the built-in planner. This will allow you to theorycraft the perfect set of tools, weapons, and armor to suit your needs. Tinkers’ equipment can also gain the incredibly powerful Improvable modifier using just 5 paper, allowing your gear to level up through use. Reaching higher levels becomes increasingly difficult, requiring 100 XP for level 1, 200 XP for level 2, all the way up to 409,600 XP for the final level of 12. (Only for dedicated grinders.) As your gear levels up, additional modifier slots become available:
- Tools: up to 3 Ability Modifiers and 9 Upgrade Modifiers
- Armor: up to 3 Ability Modifiers, 3 Defense Modifiers, and 6 Upgrade Modifiers
Throughout your journey, you’ll discover powerful trinkets and baubles from both the Overworld and other dimensions, including the all-mighty Ankh Shield if you can manage to collect every component it requires. To aid your collection of these and other items, you can use the Soul Shards mod to create your own mob spawners, and even use them to help level up your weapons from Tinker's!
The modpack also features a wide variety of optional dimensions to explore. None are required for progression. They exist purely for discovery, adventure, rewards, and curiosity. Some offer powerful upgrades and useful quality-of-life items, while others offer little more than the joy of exploration itself. If you need guidance discovering these hidden realms, here are a few clues:
- Speak to a mysterious Gatekeeper and acquire his knowledge.
- Throw an ender pearl at a beehive.
- Drink a Piña Colada at sunset while relaxing in a beach chair.
- Discover what the Elder Guardians protect within Ocean Monuments.
- Toss a diamond into a 2×2 pool surrounded by dirt covered in flowers or mushrooms.
- Throw a scarab into a 3×3 pool atop sandstone, surrounded by sandstone pillars.
- Construct a portal from keystone blocks and ignite it with glint and gold.
Once you’ve become truly powerful, test your might against the devastating bosses of L_Ender's Cataclysm in the Nether and the End. And for the ultimate challenge, use in game clues to track down and defeat all 4 hidden bosses from Bosses of Mass Destruction.
Good luck! Your adventure awaits.
