An endless snowstorm makes life on the surface nearly impossible due to extremely low visibility and sub-zero temperatures. To survive, you must seek shelter in the warmer underground and find ways to protect yourself from the cold so you can venture outside.

Purpose:

The primary focus of this modpack is to challenge players to survive and thrive in harsh environmental conditions while maintaining a gameplay experience similar to vanilla Minecraft. Additionally, the Aquamirae mod provides additional content and boss encounters for players seeking extended challenges and rewards.

Features:

Reduced visibility due to heavy snowfall.
Hostile mobs can spawn at all times on the surface due to perpetual darkness.
The extreme cold is deadly in a short time without proper protection.
On the other hand, the Nether is extremely hot, so finding a way to keep yourself cool is essential.
After joining the world or respawning, players will receive a 5-minute grace period during which they are protected from the deadly temperatures.
Environments that are too cold will cause food to freeze, making it unsafe to eat. Conversely, environments that are too hot will cause food to rot, making it also unsafe to eat.
Caves offer protection from the extreme outside conditions.
Normal villages are disabled. Instead, a new type can be found deep underground.
Beware of cold oceans: a ship graveyard named the Ice Maze can be found in this biome, where the souls of undead sailors and other dangerous creatures lurk.
Items can sometimes be found frozen in ice patches.
