Frostbite is a hauntingly realistic modpack for Minecraft, transforming the familiar blocky world into a desolate, frozen wasteland where survival is a constant struggle against eldritch horrors lurking in the icy shadows.
The environment is an endless expanse of snow-covered plains and jagged ice formations, where blizzards whip through the landscape, reducing visibility to near-zero and creating an eerie, oppressive atmosphere. The silence is broken only by the distant howls of wind and the crunch of snow underfoot, echoing ominously through the barren wilderness.
Since I haven't added a guide to progression yet I'll write it down here:
READ THIS
-Use campfires to make yourself warm
-You need air the deeper you go in caves, on a tall mountain and if you are near a heat source so make an air bladder or respirator
-Smelt ores with a campfire until you have enough iron to make a melter and a cauldron
-Place melter over a heat source
-Drop ores in from above (with Q)
-Make and use a ceramic ingot mold to collect molten liquid
-Use the ingot mold (right click) on a cauldron full of water
And everything else is pretty similar, get food, drink water, make guns etc.

Gone are the comforts of civilization; instead, players scavenge what they can from abandoned structures frozen in time, each offering a glimpse into the tragic history of those who once sought refuge here. Tools and equipment are scarce, forcing players to improvise and adapt to the hostile environment.
Frostbite is best played in multiplayer because of the added voice chat, so find a group of friends and have fun! Or, if you're alone then traverse by your lonesome, I guess.
