Winelight Carnival Remastered

This is an updated version of an old buggy version I made (hence 'remastered')

I mean if it gets enough traction I miiiiiight update it but I HIGHLY doubt it
Additionally, this modpack is exceptionally difficult. Not as hard as RLCraft, but it is up there in terms of difficulty nonetheless. Unless you instantly know what you're doing, expect to die often. I added quests not as a main progression system, but as a general guidebook on how to survive along with some small tidbits of lore, especially regarding the first three to six chapters.

In the world of Winelight Carnival, you play in 3008. 

Hundreds upon thousands of years ago, in 2055, the continents of old were not as empty and naturally barren as you see now.

They were once bloated with sprawling cities and pompous technologies, the dystopian shame and arrogant pride of humanity.

In their final display of ignorance, they thought they had it under control and refused to acknowledge the threat pouring out of the sky itself until it was too late. They were too obsessed with indulging in their limitless wealth; it was easy to deal with before! We had dealt with it for decades with barely any issue. Who cared about 20, 50 years from now? Some of them didn't even believe it was happening.. Sadly, this is ultimately lead to their downfall.

Now, only small pockets of villages remain, scattered throughout the world. They had long since forgotten their days of glory, and their little communities are all they've ever known to remember.

And now we're at your generation. There are still remnants of the civilizations long lost. Their technological marvels are long gone, yes, but maybe you could revive some of their easier technologies?

Mobs no longer spawn in the night. They spawn during bad weather, such as snowstorms or rain/thunderstorms. There are a myriad of undead ghosts and ghoulish monsters ready to block your way, instead of the normal zombie or skeleton. And some of these ghosts can possess other mobs, resulting in a terrible fusion.

The rain isn't your only enemy, though. If you plan to go caving deep or flying at high altitudes (or traversing dimensions), make sure that you have something to provide you with oxygen. Otherwise, the thin air may end up killing you. Items like safety lanterns can inform you when you're about to run out of air, and air containers like Respirators and Air Bladders can renew your breath. Potions of Free Breathing and Bottles of Soul-fire give you the ability to breathe anything, and Soul-burning blocks create pockets of oxygen around you.

Before you set out to challenge the realm and earn yourself the riches it has to offer, you need to prepare. Portable water containers (such as canteens), a simple backpack, and knowing how to Parry (pressing F) are all important foundations you need to know first.

Complete quests ingame, as they have tidbits of lore and tell you how to play the game and thrive. Whether that be as an ace adventurer, a maniacal warlord, or a humble fisherman selling his hauls, theres a bit of something for everybody.
