Winecraft has been stripped down!
Client side mods are no longer included in Winecraft. Feel free to customize and tweak your experience with additional client side mods.
What does Winecraft have to offer?
WINE!
OK, but seriously... We wanted Winecraft Cabernet to of course offer Wine making (which it does through Vinery) but improve the farming experience. It includes the basic Farmer's Delight, and adds Go Fish to give Minecraft a feel similar to Stardew Valley. This is also what we consider the "Busy Person's" version of Minecraft. Mining is slightly faster (25% by default). Chests can be moved one at a time with Carry On to reorganize without having to deal with inventory management but we've altered Carry On that no entities larger than a cat can be lifted. Trees can be broken quickly by taking out one block of their trunks and are replanted upon chopping. We wanted to create an experience where it's possible to gather resources to work on grand Minecraft visions even if you have a day job that keeps you busy several days a week.
Before you get started it's important to know that this pack does include a few game changers such as Backpacked and Piercing Paxels... BUT! Through Starter Kit, CraftTweaker, and Lenient Death, we hope to have balanced these mods out. Everyone who begins a Winecraft experience is given a SINGLE backpack and paxel that remains with them even upon death! And these tools are uncraftable, so unless you convince someone else on a server to give theirs up, there is no acquiring extras. Backpack inventory is also safe from death, but don't go thinking it's safe from EVERYTHING. Backpacks are susceptible to being pickpocketed if you leave yourself out in the open with other players around.
So essentially, Winecraft is designed to be a SOCIAL experience. There are emotes, proximity voice chat, status setting, hats and more! Play with your friends on your own server, and message us if you'd like to join our Winecraft SMP Server!
Remember to set your key binds for backpack inventory, crawling, zoom, inventory sorting, and emotes.
By default...
CarryOn works by Shift+Right Clicking the entity you want to pick up while you have nothing in either hand.
Sit works by Right Clicking the top side of a stair or slab with an empty hand.
Explore, make friends, drink wine, and have fun!
