WELCOME TO THE WILDLANDS
What is this modpack based around? Whitetail’s Wildlands is based around my personal interests. Mainly things like nature, farming, exploration, and of course.. dungeons! This mod mainly focuses on expanding the game, and making it slightly more difficult… but it doesn’t force you into it! There are very dangerous corners of the Wildlands with powerful foes, ready to crush unwary adventurers. But players of all styles can choose to approach them at their own pace, or sometimes not at all! There is a bit of extra danger implemented into the regular world, but nothing an adept Minecraft player can’t handle.
This mod contains a bunch of new biomes and creatures, especially sea creatures, to make sure every corner of your world is vibrant and ripe for exploration. Even corners outside of your world, as the Nether and End have been massively expanded as well, adding in a whole new host of animals, mobs, and corners of the world for you to bring back to your base. This pack includes something I find interesting in the game as well, structures!
Structures, abandoned areas, and dangerous dungeons are plentiful in the Wildlands. You will never run out of dangerous caverns and fortresses to conquer, and the loot… there are plenty of mods to ensure that your pilfering pays off, powerful weapons, armors, artifacts, and treasures await for adventurers willing to brave the darkness. Just make sure you bring a bunch of torches….
And while you’re out exploring, you’re bound to get hungry. I’ve included multiple addons to improve the amount of food you find in the wild, as well as the cooking! Yes.. it’s easy to eat the same stale dungeons bread over and over, but why do that when you can create amazing dishes with your vast cookbook and farm, that reward you. With effects to aid you in combat, get you out of a tight spot in a crowded dungeon, or even just giving you some extra maximum hearts! A well-fed adventurer is a happy adventurer.
That about sums up the pack, I’m an inexperienced modpack maker, seeing as how this is my first real pack! Please give me feedback about how it plays out, and make sure to support if possible! I hope you have as much fun playing it as I did making it :]
