Whitest Winter

Welcome to the Whitest Winter! This modpack provides players with an enhanced experience of surviving in a winter wonderland... or perhaps it should be framed as a wasteland. The whole world is locked in a perpetual winter with constant snowfall, and you have one goal: survive! But that is easier said than done - the combination of the Snowy, Thirst Was Taken, and Cold Sweat mods makes the surface inhospitable to an unprepared player. More than likely, you will need to spend your first few nights underground away from the cold surface, or camping around a surface lava lake to stay warm. But don't dig too deep... despite the frozen surface, the world is filled with scalding volcanic caverns deep underground!

However, all is not lost - to aid you in this challenge, Create (along with several expensions for it), Farmer's Delight (along with several of its own expansions), and Silent Gear are available for use, along with a number of other helpful mods. While it is possible to go to the Nether, Create: Netherless and Volcanic Caverns were included for players who want to attempt a netherless playthrough of the modpack for an extra bit of challenge.

Oh, and did I forget to mention that you'll be subjected to Blood Moons and the Cold Snap hoarde? Because the cold isn't your only concern in this world! Do you have what it takes to persevere and conquer the Whitest Winter, or will you be just another victim to the frozen wastes?
