Welcome to Whimsyhell! This modpack will challenge the fiercest of Minecraft players. There is a ton of exploration and adventuring to do, but it won't be easy! You will quickly find yourself overwhelmed by mobs, which will become progressively more difficult every day!
While the mobs can be overwhelming, you will also find peace in the beauty of your travels as you explore one breathtaking biome after another. Your adventuring will be rewarded with instanced loot chests, and excellent trading opportunities with Villagers and Goblins. Speaking of Villagers, we have completely overhauled this system with the inclusion of the Minecraft Comes Alive Reborn mod. While this mod is completely optional for you to dive into, it provides an excellent mechanism for building an amazing and thriving kingdom. MCA also provides a very nice destiny system, allowing you to customize your character's physical attributes and race.
Adventuring and exploration are key components of the Whimsyhell progression and experience systems, which you will need an abundance of to enchant your gear with the most godly of enchants. While you explore the world and many of its dungeons, you will find multi-tier affix items and gems which can be used in socket upgrades, or salvaged into reforging materials for you to craft even more powerful items. Note, these reforging materials can only be obtained through salvaging loot and cannot be found through mining, so get out there and explore the many dungeons and structures, and defeat all those mini-bosses, scary spiders, and other mobs you come across! Bring a backpack to store all that glorious loot you'll find, as well as an XP Tome to store/protect your hard earned experience. This will be especially helpful in the event that you meet your untimely demise (which you will).
Getting to The End will be a challenging journey, as you need to collect 12 unique eyes to open the end portal, compliments of the End Remastered mod. While there are strongholds throughout the world, you can also trade with a master level cleric to obtain a map to The Lost Castle. Conquering The End is no easy feat, and defeating the Ender Dragon will be the first step in this journey. Should you deem yourself worthy by crushing all of The End bosses, you will be rewarded with the necessary means to enter the final end game challenge, The Abyss...
Whimsyhell contains a Quest Book to help guide you through some of the progression systems, especially with getting to the End, but there are still plenty of other systems for you to discover on your own.
This pack is designed to provide consistent fun and rewarding progression from start to end game, and without feeling "grindy".
