These Colonists Desperately Need a Decisive Leader

Since 2012, Waywardcraft servers have tried to uphold three basic principles: build an economy, make travel a necessary challenge, and inspire players to craft not just a base, but a story. And our tenth anniversary server relaunch, accompanied by this modpack, is meant to embody those core philosophies in grand ways.

With Lightman's Currency, you'll have the tools necessary to forge a single shop into a business empire … or perhaps just bum around in the auction house looking for a good deal on used sheers. We don't judge. Of course, to make any money, you'll need products to sell. So it helps to explore the world with Small Ships Mod and Viescraft Machines, craft delicious meals with Farmer's Delight and Better Animals Plus, and gather and package your items with Create.

Are your ambitions a little bigger than the business world? Why not find suitable land and build a city all your own with MineColonies, and invite some friends along to grow and manage it. Because the only thing better than mining for diamonds is getting NPCs to do it for you! And hey, if you connect your town with roads and ports, you might entice other players to venture your way and shop right in your colony. Why not?

The one golden rule here is that nothing comes cheap. Don't expect magic flight or warping around. Is the world spawn 12 kilometers from your settlement? Unfurl those sails and get moving!

We plan on adding Custom NPCs when it updates to 1.18.2, and eventually we hope to update to 1.19.2 and beyond. When Custom NPCs comes along, expect our server to host countless quest lines and dungeons. In the meantime, FTBQuests will have to suffice.

Please note: This modpack is designed for servers, so some elements won't make much sense in a single-player environment. Also, with more than 50 mods, the system requirements to run this pack are quite high. We recommend a minimum of 4 GB RAM allocated to Minecraft, or 6+ GB ideally.
