The Horror of Solitude (Solo & Atmosphere)

In single-player, you will quickly learn that being "alone" does not mean being "safe."

The Presence: Driven by entities such as The Midnight Lurker and The Knocker, you will feel constantly watched. Fleeting shadows at the corner of your eye, heavy footsteps on the floor above... the horror is mental long before it becomes physical.
Sonic Immersion: A completely overhauled audio system makes every wooden creak and every gust of wind terrifying. In the dead cities, echo is your worst enemy.

Evolving Threat: The Mutating Infection

The danger never remains static. Wasteland Requiem utilizes a progressive difficulty system:

The Early Days: Classic survival. Your priority is scavenging for water and scrap to forge makeshift gear.
The Escalation: As time passes, the undead mutate. They grow more intelligent—capable of breaching your defenses, building bridges, or tracking you by scent.
The Requiem: Eventually, the wasteland unleashes its most ferocious apex predators. Only high-tier automation via Create and the mastery of your firearms will allow you to see the next dawn.

Urban Exploration & Parkour

The world is a skeleton of concrete and rust.

Lost Cities: Explore procedural ruined megalopolises. Every skyscraper is a vertical dungeon filled with precious resources, but also swarming with infected nests.
Fluid Movement: Parkour is your only chance for survival. Scale building facades, slide under debris, and leap across rooftops to escape the hordes saturating the streets below.
