This update expands Warspire’s progression with a stronger profession system and a deeper class identity system.
The profession tree now gives players long-term goals tied to their playstyle. Each profession has its own progression path, rewards, and identity, while hybrid branches allow players to combine two different specializations later in progression.
Delver focuses on mining, underground survival, resource gathering, and deep exploration. This path rewards players who spend time underground, gather large quantities of materials, and push into dangerous mining zones.
Hunter focuses on combat, monster trophies, hostile mob progression, and boss preparation. This path is designed for players who actively fight, hunt, and clear dangerous areas.
Homesteader focuses on farming, food production, animal resources, storage, and long-term survival infrastructure. This path supports players who build stable bases and prepare supplies for harsh survival conditions.
Artificer focuses on technology, machines, automation, and industrial progression. This path is built around mechanical and technical growth, leading into stronger automation and late-game engineering.
Arcanist focuses on magic, spell progression, mana-related resources, and mystical crafting. This path gives magic-focused players a dedicated progression route with long-term arcane goals.
Hybrid profession branches were added to reward players who combine two different paths. These branches create more advanced identities such as mining with machinery, farming with magic, hunting with spellcraft, or combat with engineering.
The class tree has also been expanded with deeper class progression.
Samurai now has a relic progression centered around the Oni Katana. The class focuses on attack speed, melee damage, movement, and critical damage. Samurai progression rewards aggressive melee play and disciplined close-range combat.
Archer now has a relic progression centered around the Cursed Bow. The class focuses on arrow damage, arrow velocity, draw speed, and mobility. Archer progression rewards ranged combat, precision, and preparation with specialized arrows.
Assassin now has a relic progression centered around a Netherite Dagger. The class focuses on speed, burst damage, critical damage, and mobility. Assassin progression rewards fast movement, execution-style combat, and high-risk melee gameplay.
Wizard now has a relic progression centered around a Netherite Spell Book. The class focuses on mana, mana regeneration, spell power, and magical survivability. Wizard progression now better supports long-term spellcasting and late-game magic scaling.
Knight now has the largest relic expansion, with a full defensive equipment path instead of only a single weapon. Knight progression now includes a chief sword, shield, chestplate, helmet, leggings, and boots. The class focuses on max health, armor, armor toughness, knockback resistance, and frontline survival.
Overall, this update makes professions and classes more meaningful, more distinct, and more rewarding over time. Players now have clearer long-term paths depending on whether they prefer mining, hunting, farming, technology, magic, melee combat, ranged combat, stealth, spellcasting, or tanking.
