Vox Arcana is an experimental modpack aiming to integrate technology, magic, and exploration as seamlessly as possible. This modpack makes heavy use of KubeJS for balancing and integration, particularly to bring some much needed progression balance to Ars Nouveau and its addons. Other integrations will mainly focus on utility and quality of life, and will be expanded in future updates. See below for a summary of the main content mods, and how to get started.

Magic & Technology:

Ars Nouveau - Custom spells, arcane rituals, enchanted artifacts, and magical creatures. Expanded with Ars Creo, Ars Elemental, Ars Technica, and Too Many Glyphs. Craft a "Worn Notebook" to start learning the magical arts. Glyph recipes have been customized to use materials from other mods, effectively sending the aspiring mage on a scavenger hunt across the dimensions.
Create - Industrial era technology with cogwheels, steam engines, trains, conveyor belts, and freeform moving contraptions. Expanded with Create Big Cannons, Jetpack, Central Kitchen, Connected, Enchantment Industry, and The Factory Must Grow. To start engineering, click the "Ponder" button in the menu and get a visual tutorial for each device.

Adventure & Exploration:
Ice and Fire - Adds dragons and other mythical creatures to the overworld, some of which can be tamed. Craft a "Bestiary" and look for manuscripts to start learning more about them.
Alexs Mobs - Adds a wide variety of animals and other creatures in the overworld, the nether, and the end. Craft the "Animal Dictionary" for more information on their behaviors and drops.
Twilight Forest - A magical woodland dimension of eternal twilight, with an impressive assortment of dungeons and bosses. Expanded with Twilight Tweaks, Twilight Treehouses, and Hello Twilight Boss. To get there, make a 2x2 pool of water surrounded by flowers, and throw a diamond into it.
Aether - A dangerous sky island paradise far above the overworld, with its own bosses, dungeons, and treasures. To get there, make a standard 2x3 portal frame out of glowstone, and activate it with a bucket of water.
Blue Skies - Adds the Everbright and Everdawn dimensions, each with their own challenges and rewards. To get there, find the Gatekeeper's house in the overworld, trade for the "Blue Journal" and "Zeal Lighter", and see if he has a portal frame you can use.
Undergarden - A forgotten cave dimension full of strange flora and stranger creatures. To get there, make a standard 2x3 portal frame out of stone bricks, and craft a "Catalyst" to activate it.
Deep Void - Falling into the void may not kill you, but the horrors lurking within probably will. You'll eventually find a way in if you dig deep enough, but getting out alive could be far more difficult.

Equipment & Utilities:
Lets Do Farm & Charm - Adds a variety of new crops and foods. Expanded to offer recipes and ingredients for almost any dimension. Look for crop and seed items in JEI to get started, and press "U" on them to see what dishes you can make.
Cosmetic Armor Reworked - Adds cosmetic equipment slots, so you can personalize your appearance. Expanded with Cosmetic Armors and Cosmetic Weapons to provide a collection of unique accessories. Lookup "Cosmetic" in JEI to find reference books for each.
Spartan Weaponry - An extensive collection of weapons, ranging from throwing knives to battle axes. Expanded with addons for most of the materials included in the modpack. Look for your favorite weapons in JEI, or press "U" on an ingot to see what sort of weapons you can craft with it.
Fantasy Armor - A wide assortment of aesthetically pleasing high quality armors. Currently set to be equivalent to netherite, these will gain unique attributes and abilities in future updates. To craft them, look for the "Moon Crystal" in JEI, and press "U" on it to see all the recipes.
Immersive Aircraft - Various aircraft including planes, airships, and some kind of weird bamboo flying machine. Expanded with Man of Many Planes for some high quality biplanes. All the recipes are listed in JEI, so look for "plane" or "airship" to get started.
Waystones - Craftable teleportation points for survival. Recipes are in JEI, so look for "Waystone" and "Warp" to get started.
