Vestra Mater's Space and Dinos

A client/server, multi-player modpack focused on bringing tech, exploration, and togetherness.

To make a long story long:
I started my son young, on Bedrock Edition of Minecraft on the XBOX. We spent many hours together mining, building redstone devices, destroying villages, re-growing villages from zombie villagers - you know, all the vanilla things. The time has now come for him to graduate to modded Minecraft.

However, in the interest of making it interesting for more than just him, I decided to theme things together a bit, to give our server longevity. The idea is simple: put together a modpack that allows all manner of technology and exploration. New biomes, new animals, dungeons, etc. Make the world exciting to explore for the long-haul.

To that end, there's all sorts of things in here that appeal to kids: dragons, dinosaurs, space travel, wild animals, weapons, armor, trains, etc, etc, etc.

* We also use the 1.12.2 version of DrZhark's Mo'Creatures mod (currently v12.0.2), but due to licensing, this is not available through Twitch/CurseForge.
