The last vestiges of fertile earth are suspended above endless desert. Descend from your refuge above the wasted world and reclaim what remains of humanity's old home.
You will spawn on a small piece of land suspended above an endless desert biome by an obsidian claw. However, the claw does not have everything you need to survive. If you wish to live long, you will need to tentatively descend and scavenge what you need. However, the things that roam the world will take no pity on your weakened form. Half of your health is missing, to be earned back as you recover dominance over this husk of a world. Yet weakened or not, you must venture down to gather what few plants remain, to recover the trappings of the dead, to excavate what minerals you can from the shell of the earth and to pillage the ruins of sprawling tunnels underground.
Major Features:
- Lonely Biome and World Tweaker: And endless Desert (Lakes) biome with a structure at spawn, The World Claw
- Thirst from Tough as Nails: Purify and drink water, lest you wither away in the desert's heat
- Spice of Life and Pam's Harvestcraft: You must bring back as many species of plant as possible if you wish to make the varied diet demanded of you. Diminishing hunger returns will occur if you eat the same food too many times.
- Hardcore Questing Mode: Some quests will guide you through the basics. After this, you will have five long-term goals to recover the max health taken from you at the beginning of the game. There are also quests to create spawn eggs for unobtainable mobs.
- Immersive Engineering: Often ignored in favour of mods like EnderIO and Thermal Expansion, Immersive Engineering is now your only means of automation. Steel yourself for the multiblock machines in their glorious beauty.
- Tinker's Construct: Of course there's Tinker's Construct! Vanilla pickaxes are disabled for progression reasons, but other tools are untouched.
