New Modpack Stuff

  • 200+ items have been added to the tag alexscaves:ferromagnetic_items, thus making all items magnatic and able to work with the blocks from Alex's Caves.
  • Added Quest exclusive throphies(trofers) and custom rare item's like Thor's Helm, and White Rabbit Slippers(increased jump height).
  • Added several flowers that were missing the 'minecraft:flowers" tag, now it is easier to find your favorite flower.
  • Botnay Pots - Added missing flowers, and grasses.
  • Expanded Ars Nouveau, Botania, Building, Camera, Dragon Mounts(New, Thank You Missa),The End, Everbright, Food & Farming, Immersive Engineering Mementos, Nature's Aura, The Nether, The Otherside, Twilight Forest and Velox Quest lines.
  • Fixed a mod conflict issue were Players trying to gain Vampirism or become a Werewolf couldn't due to negative effects getting wiped when sleeping due to Bed Benifits.
  • Fixed Human Hearts not showing as an edible meat for Werewolves.
  • New Blue Skies Alchemy Table recipes, making it more useful for converting items(Some examples, roses, fluids, gems).
  • New Loading Screens for Singleplayer and Multiplayer selection screens.
  • New Loading tips from Velox itself, they will be Aqua colored and provide helpful modpack related help.
  • New Title Screen and Intro Scene(Might just only keep the title screen in future updates, it is skipable and a easter egg to the last menu screen).
  • Removed duplicate Aether recipe file.
  • Silver items also now have the Werewolf silver tag now, making them useful against werewolves.

  • Return of Engineer's Decor! The orginal other retired and is now carried on via someone new.

Removed Mods

  • Better Chunk Loader - Compat issue with Embeddium, and seems to be causing chunk load lag.
  • Removed Some old dependencies of Minecraft colonies.

Heads up regarding Macaw's Bridges: Note you will need to do the below steps if you already placed a bridge when updating to Velox 0.17.4+ due to their code rework.

I personally tested this, it seems double stairs are affected, and bridges will look like floating slabs. Doing any of the steps below fixes the issue. With some bridge designs, you may need to re-piler the bridge.

Mod Update Notes - Since 4/11

Ars Elemental

  • Changes: Hellfire -> Magic Fire. A fire effect will display on entities affected by it, instead of reducing healing it will increase it slightly and is now marked as neutral effect. Fire focus/armor will consider this as being on fire.
  • Envenom -> Earth focus will now allow to apply envenom on undeads, a new particle effect will play on envenomed entities
  • Discharge -> Changed particles when CoFh core is loaded, classic version will stay without it until the art is final
  • Evaporate -> It will dry mud into clay
  • Fixes & Tech stuff: The checks for foci is now resolver based where possible like the Shaper's, should allow to hook to checks more easily for other devs and neg threads.   • Rope Bridges have only 2 facing sides, north and east. Since west and south would be the same as north and east, we decided to merge it so it wont create redundant blockstates
  • Bridge handrails/handguards have been reworked, you can now toggle between all 4 sides or empty platform, with this change you can modify bridges like never before
  • Bridges have an updated placing mechanism, if you place a bridge while on a bridge, it will place down a bridge in the way you are facing ( Similar to the scaffolding )
  • Bridge Stairs have also an updated placing mechanism, if you place the stair on the stair, it will build another stair one block behind and above it, this way you can easily build bridge stairs upwards.
  • Shears can be used like pliers
  • Bridges now have a tooltip about Pliers/Shears
  • Bridges and Stairs cannot be placed directly above themselves, this makes it easier to build
  • Bridge Piers/Supports no longer connect but they have an improved model to make them look just as good as before
  • All Stone recipes can now be crafted in the stonecutter too
  • Bridges now have the tag Trapdoors, this is because entities are pathfinding it when it has the tag...

Additions
