Tech based pack with an end game revolving around V-Bucks. What could go wrong?
Introduction
Have you just finished E2:E? Are you looking for a real challenge? If so, this is the modpack for you!
And if not, that's ok.
WIP modpack. It makes use of mods like AE2, EnderIO, PSI, etc.
This pack revolves around the almighty V-Buck. Some recipes, like the angel from EU2 for example, have ingredients replaced with V-Buck shards. To complete the pack you must craft a V-Buck. You have to go to all 4 corners of every world in order to do this. It's pretty much an expert pack without most of the expert recipes.
Many mods such as Nuclearcraft, Galacticraft and of course V-Bucks are tightly integrated into the questlines in V-Buck Pack.
This is no easy playthrough. There will be many challenges you will face, like mutated horrors of the wastelands, expert-tier recipes for the most powerful items and more. There is also a quest line that you can play with if that's your thing.
Current version is WIP and a few questlines are not complete.
Once you have completed the main questlines, there is V-Buck Pack II: HARDMODE available.
You will need to rack up 1,000 kills without dying once prior to accepting the challenge in order to play it.
60 FPS is extremely easy with Optifine installed and it will even run on HD graphics laptops!
Recommended Java version is 1.8.0_191
4GB of RAM and G1GC are optimal.
Nice quests with FTB Quest book.
Installation
MultiMC:
- Download the latest pack version.
- Drag the zip into the MultiMC windows and wait.
- Install Optifine (Much better FPS and settings!)
Twitch:
- Open the pack page in Twitch launcher.
- Click the green Install button and wait.
- Install Optifine (Much better FPS and settings!)
Other
Get MultiMC or the Twitch launcher.
OR (not recommended)
Go through the mod list and install them manually. DO NOT DO THIS, IT WILL TAKE FOREVER!
